Holly Springs Detour

We had planned to stop at a restaurant that Travis and I went to years ago and loved on our way to Graceland, too. It was really disapointing and we didn't even end up eating there. But it did take us past this cool abandoned burnt out set of buildings. of course we had to stop and explore.




when crystal and i walked around the back of that building a deer ran out and scared us SO BAD. it was a really eerie place. the front of this one looked ok but then the back was totally collapsed.




this was an old theater.

you could peek through the front doors and see old tattered curtains. it felt like something was going to start moving in there in front of the crack at any moment. then some birds started flapping and crystal screamed. so fun!

this was a newer structure obviously.

it was really fun. and a great way to stretch our legs after being in the car for so long.
