i took phyllis to Dog Day in Nashville's centennial park on saturday. No priscilla because Travis is out of town and i can't carry them both at once. I really excited to go, but it was just ok. You had to pay 5 bucks to get in, and there were dress up contests and vendors and food and music. Maybe it would have been more fun if i hadn't been alone.

we saw a few pugs and i contemplated buying a dog stroller. i don't know if i'm ready for that though. haha. i feel like i would be explaining to everyone that we have it because they are both disabled and can't walk a long way.
phyllis loved getting some attention and she liked all the treats people gave her. and she LOVED the huge dogs. there seemed to be tons of great danes/mastiffs and phyllis always wanted to go meet them.
there was bad traffic on the way home, so i took lots of pictures of phyllis while we waited. seriously, she is so cute it KILLS me.

so, if you are in nashville and tempted by dog day, it's really not worth 5 bucks. save that for pugfest ;) (i cannot wait for pugfest!! only 6 weeks away!)
