  4. Look! In the air....it's Super Pug! Very cute. I have two pugs myself, plump little things that they are insist on cuddling at the most inopportune time. Still, who couldn't love a pug?

  6. I just got here from My Paper Crane. I live in Murfreesboro and spend every weekend in Franklin. LET'S BE FRIENDS. I wish the world worked like it did in Kindergarten where you could just run up to someone who had a doll like yours and say that.

    ;-;

    Also I have only been in the Franklin Goodwill a few times and I think I've just been spoiled by the one in Shelbyville because it is pretty much the best. I would find such awesome things there every time I went. One time I found a leather maternity skirt with brass studs, I am never going to top that. Hot mama.

    2. It's pretty great. Maybe it's because there's such an income disparity (or so it feels like), but the Goodwill is both huge and full of jewels. I used to find J Peterman dresses on the 4 dollar sale rack on a regular basis. I never bought them (the folly of youth!) but the rich horse-owning ladies in Shelbyville apparently give a lot of their stuff to Goodwill and much of it barely worn. And when I lived there the bric-a-brac shelf was vast and full of vintage magic. I still have a few things I picked up there--ceramic 1950s poodles with pointy noses galore!
