Even though I've been really busy, January always seems slow and lazy to me. Lots of sleeping in when I can, bundling up on the couch, rearranging stuff around the house.
Rereading the same old books. I'm on my third this week.
If you had told me even a year ago that my bed would be covered in 6 kinds of floral patterns I would have said you were crazy. Isn't it funny how things can change?
I'm really looking forward to the days getting longer. Even though I get off work by 3 most days, it is usually dark by the time I get home. Which doesn't make me feel productive at all. How do you beat the winter blahs?
Since moving to Chicago 4 1/2 years ago I've had to make winter projects for myself so I don't go off the deep end in February! This winter I'm resolving to post 4-5 times a week on the blog (hopefully that will start soon) and to take TONS of photos of Chicago stores/people/places. We'll see how it goes.
Also just noticed your snazzy new blog layout! My other goal is to re-do my blog layout, you're definitely inspiring me to do so.
i used to hate it... but, fruit! seriously. since the cleanse has started, i find myself craving an orange or an apple on my blah days. can you believe it?
i love the two pillowcases on the right. oh my goodess, so so so so so much. if you ever decide to downsize and get rid of some things, i will fly from california to come shop your awesome stash of stuff.
