Here is a tiny little collection I have. Unicorns. I have always loved them. It is cliche, but they are so magical and girl and dreamy. The Last Unicorn was one of my favorite movies as a kid, and I had this Kenny Loggins lullaby tape I would listen too, the last unicorn song was the last song on one side, and I would always try to stay away long enough to hear it, which didn't happen often. Here is my sweet little collection:
The big mama and baby were given to me by travis when we were first dating. He already knew the way to my heart was to bring me thoughtful little gifts.
The unicorn in the front is something I bought at a yard sale when I was young, probably around 8 years old. Even with its broken horn I thought it was just so pretty! The one behind it was a gift from a friend recently. She picked it up at an antique mall just because she knew I loved unicorns, she didn't even know it matched the one I have loved for so long!
And of course, like I posted before, I have some unicorn brooches. You can't see it well, but on the left side there is a unicorn stick pin that is super cute.
And there you have it, my little collection of unicorns.
Hello! I just wanted to say I love your blog! I totally have a soft spot for unicorns as well, and I just had to comment since the Last Unicorn was my absolute favorite as a kid too!
ReplyDeletethank you! it used to really scare me! the party with the harpy in the carnival gave me nightmares! So i would just fast forward, and enjoy the rest. haha.
DeleteAieee! I have been hoping you'd post your unicorns after you said you had the same two as me :D Now that I've seen the sitting one without a paint job I am tempted to strip mine, hmm...
ReplyDeleteThe little twin pair is the best. Their faces are so sweet.
Sweet collection! I can remember my cousin and I sitting and rearranging our unicorn collections as young girls and wishing that unicorns were real.
ReplyDeleteThat's a sweet collection of unicorns. And don't worry, you're not alone in your unicorn love. When I was a kid I wanted one of my own in the worst way...until I realized that was pretty impossible. Oh my little heart was broken. Ahh dare to dream, I guess.

ReplyDeleteI think all little girls collected unicorns! Me and my best friend did. About 15 years ago I gave her my collection except I did save my two favorites to keep.
