Pre-sale!

I got a really cool opportunity recently thanks to Jaime over at Owl Really. Her friend was cleaning out this house and let her invite some friends over to dig through the stuff! It was amazing! Imagine an estate sale where your only competition is a few people you are friends with! It was a little overwhelming at first, so much good stuff! Jamie did a post today about the little notes that were all over the house, go check it out! It is so cute! I brought a weird note home, and forgot to photograph it, I'll have to show you later this week.
So much to dig through! I bet we really didn't even see all the house had to offer.
My pile was a little out of control! And check out Lisa's hand pointing at my new color wheel! My bff Crystal actually found the color part and then I remembered seeing the base of it on the opposite side of the house! So now I have two, one for each of my aluminum trees.
Crystal is the best/worst estate sale partner for me. She finds TONS OF STUFF that I will like, so I end up buying so much! She ended up taking home a head to store one of her wigs on.
Here is what I got!
I love that little frenchie figure, and I just had to bring home that tiny muzzle, I don't know why! I keep finding poodle manuals at estate sales. My poodle collection is getting pretty awesome.
Another weather house for another collection! A pretty napkin, and a prettier pillow case!
A bunch of cute made in japan ceramics. The guy cleaning out the house let me have the whale for free because he thought it was so ugly! What? I thought it was the cutest thing there! I was good and put it in my booth. though I might regret it. It is hard to give up the "good stuff"! But I OWED money to the mall last month, so I'm stepping up my game.
Anyway, the trout and cute bear plater will be in the booth too, but I'm keeping the hand holding the crown. How pretty!
Some pyrex in a pattern I've always liked. I'm a sucker for eagles.
Look at that poodle lamp! It works too, there is a little bulb in the body. I think Jamie handed it to me at the sale. I'm keeping that for sure! The thing with the green handle is a donut cutter. And how pretty is that blue fire king cup?
I found this little book of photos.
It is full of pictures of this family with a litter of kittens!
A pretty divided snack dish! I love the wood grain pattern.
We picked up a few country records, a signed picture of Porter Wagoner, an old toy horse, and a cute Elvis photo magazine.
Here is my color wheel again! I can't wait to set up my trees!
Speaking of Christmas, check out this hilarious toilet lid cover! The top has Santa looking normal and saying Ho Ho Ho! Then when you open the lid.....
And last but not least, I was so happy to find a little vintage Halloween noise maker! It is the first vintage Halloween thing I've ever owned!
Thanks again for the invite Jamie!

Put them on a string of pearls, perhaps?? I'm glad you got little horsey and i LOVE going to estate sales with you too! Because that way i can find awesome stuff but not have to leave it behind! okay, rambling. Oh yeah! Adrienne- you had a booth too, right? Sam told me about you! Well, this is weird now.
