I forgot to get some pulled back shots to show you what it looked like. This is a pretty good example.
I LOVE that Sun Crest sign! How great would that look on my wall? Maybe one year we'll save up and buy a big old sign. This one wasn't as expensive as we expected. I think it was around 700 dollars. It was hand painted. I love the colors!
I loved that jester painting too.
I bought this great Miss America trophy! How could I resist? Brett did a great job modeling it for me.
You know I can't resist taking a photo of an old baby doll bed with decals. How cute is the blue deer?
The guy we bought our squirrel from last year had a black squirrel this year! Isn't he cute?
We convinced Thomas to buy this Shriner hat. I love it! LOOK at that tassel! Pretty majestic. I think he is going to be a Shriner for Halloween. We were ready to head back after this (and we had to pick up the pugs) so we headed into Chattanooga and had lunch at the Mellow Mushroom. It really hit the spot after a long day in the sun. We got the vegan cheese of course. Mmmmm, I love their pizza so much!So there you have it! Year two of the World's Longest Yard Sale! I'm sure we'll be back next year, and for many to come! I'll come back tomorrow and show you what I brought home! I got some pretty great stuff!
I seriously wanna go next year...for at least one leg of it. I am sure it isn't super accessible...but I would love to go check it out. I always have wanted to!
ReplyDeletegah! it looks like such great fun! So much amazing stuff! can't wait to see what you bought
ReplyDeleteI hate to think how many pictures I'd take at a place like that!!! So neat!
ReplyDeleteDang, that whole trip seemed like so much fun for you guys, but also so freaking exhausting!
ReplyDeleteExcited to see what you came home with. If the Miss America trophy is any indication of your spoils, they're gonna be good! : )
Eep! Those Welcome Back Kotter dolls! I've enjoyed year 2 of your WLYS posts! I had hoped to go this year, but forgot until seeing pictures on instagram. Maybe next year :)
ReplyDeleteoh my gosh! I totally need one of these in my life! My husband would hate me for dragging him along, lol!
ReplyDeleteI'm pretty sure I would have paid any amount of money for that complete Sweathogs Mego dolls collection. Even without their seventies' threads...I DIE. SO AMAZING. They were probably a million dollars, right? (consoles self with the thought of a three figure price tag) I love your Miss America pageant trophy too, what a beaut!
ReplyDeleteThis event looks so fun and I love seeing all the pictures you've shared. I would have snatched up that adorable fish with the lashes and red lipstick in a second! Also that tassel is some SERIOUS business!
