This post is really late, I'm such a terrible pug mom! Priscilla has lived with us for two years and I wanted to take a little time to celebrate her! I thought of it because she is at the vet right now, getting some teeth pulled and I'm at home waiting for the call that she is out of surgery. So here we go, the story of sweet Priscilla! Don't worry, it isn't sad like Phyllis' story.
I walked into animal control early the next morning and said "I heard you guys have a pug, is she still here?" The ladies at the desk kind of laughed and pointed to the floor by their feet. And there she was, little Miss Priscilla sleeping on a towel on the floor. I took her outside and walked her around and was totally in love. I took her home and we got her checked out by our vet. She had TERRIBLE ear infections, is almost blind, mostly deaf, and her knees are in horrible shape, but she fit in perfectly with our family. According to our estimations, she is 10 this year!
Here are some of my favorite pictures of her! I tried to narrow it down to 10, but 12 the best I could do! I hope you don't mind.
She loves taking baths.
She is one of the most tolerant dogs I've ever met.
Here's to many more years with our sweet ladies! And here is to a lifetime of senior pugs! We'll probably never have a puppy, my heart belongs to these angel seniors!
