It is made of chalk, with a really shiney glaze over the color. I haven't had much luck finding anything about it online. I found a drawing of one. And a listing for one from 1917 (that was closed or I would buy it!) They remind me of Phyllis so much! She has the saddest little face.

I think it's fitting that a single pug among poodles is saying nobody loves me.. I think the hutch is the perfect place for him! Supah cute.
ReplyDeleteLove the cake dome!
ReplyDeleteHa ha, he's so cute! And he's wrong-- YOU love him! :)
ReplyDeleteI'm happy that you finally found your little pug! Love when that happens! :)

I'm loving the cake dome too - that is something I look for everytime I go into a thrift - no luck yet!
ReplyDeleteit took me forever to find that one! it seems like they would be pretty common but no!
DeleteLove him! And love him with the poodles too! I think that I have an extra color wheel. I'll check when I start digging out the garage. I sound like some kind of hoarder. I swear, I'm not. I just....well, have too much stuff and I'm senile and that's a bad combo.
ReplyDeleteyou do not have to explain yourself to me! i should take a picture of my front room. it is FULL of piles of boxes and goodwill bags. haha.
Deletefor some reason it reminds me of this 60s creepy big-eyed child statue I saw at Pre to Post Modern that said "i mith you" on it. I am still kicking myself for not getting that. a statue with a lisp!!!!
ReplyDeletehahaha, gross!
Deletei love the color story happening with those poodles! my great-grandma had a christmas tree color wheel. i used to always play with it in the attic. haha.
ReplyDeleteAll your crochet wine bottle dogs are awesome. You collect so many different things :)
ReplyDeleteI have one of those little "nobody loves me" pugs and I'm wondering about its origins! No luck so far! Hmm...
